Paul writes that God:
…comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:4
Today you are invited to consider whom you can help as they go through hard times. How have you experienced God in your life in circumstances similar to theirs that will help and encourage them? Who helped you when you were struggling? How can you pray for that person today? How has your faith grown as a result? What can you say to someone today that will show them that God loves them however they feel about Him.
May God surprise you by the people He puts in your way today – those who will bring you comfort and those to whom you can offer comfort.
